— TIME
Made to evoke feelings of nostalgia and ataraxy, ‘Time’ is a piece truly inspired by the inner workings of my own mind. The goal was to create a multi-faceted listening experience, complete with visuals, soundscapes, and music.
I used samples of audio from the world around me. Clips of birds chirping, the ocean, the wind, the ticking of a clock, and the rain, all layered within the song, to fully capture not only the emotion of the song, but to encapsulate the feeling of being at one, surrounded by nature.
The visuals for Time were inspired by both our world, and fantastical worlds found in games (Like ‘Zelda; Breath of The Wild). Featured is what appears to be an abandoned temple, yet a standing Buddha statue, to symbolize inner peace, balance, and enlightenment.

This cover is one I hold near and dear to my heart. Declan McKenna’s ‘Brazil’ has been a personal favourite song of mine ever since I was a child. Although this is a cover, it is vastly different from the original, trading heavy guitarwork in for a soft music-box marimba, and light ethereal vocals.
To accompany the song, I created a 1622 frame animation, generated entirely using Dall-e’s AI. I generated every single image over the span of 5.5 hours, and stitched them together to form a music video. I enjoyed learning the intricacies of the software, and learning how different linguistic choices can create such varied responses from the machine. Although it is not at all what I had envisioned, my experiment turned out better than I ever could have expected, with such a high degree of symbolism within the graphics.

Released in Fall 2021, in collaboration with a talented producer based out of Italy. This cover of Radiohead’s ‘Exit Music (For a Film) takes a classic song, and gives it a new, fresh electronic twist.
